If you have visit an italian's family, you may notice tomatoes are everywhere, especially in the south Italy. When I cook with my Italian's professor, the kitchen is always lit up by the red thing. Tomato sauce is one thing that I love so much. It matches with every variety of pasta. I learned this tomato sauce with an Italian mama. She has her own farm that provides her family food, so she harvests fresh tomatoes everyday from her farm. This "from farm to table" idea let every spoons taste freshly. My friend gave me some fresh tomatoes this afternoon, so today's Dinner for One is the tomato sauce pasta. Of course!

下午朋友送來了剛摘下的蕃茄,今天的「我我晚餐」當然就非紅醬義大利麵莫屬!

簡單方便,只需十分鐘就能輕鬆上桌的紅醬義大利麵,開動。





Recipe
(Yield for ONE)

Ingredients

Water

Salt

70g Casareccia Pasta (or any kind of pasta you like)

3 small tomatoes or 1 medium 1 small (chopped)

1 clove garlic (cut to half)

1 dried bay leaf

1 tsp dried oregano

3 tbsp olive oil

5 leaves basil

Salt

Black pepper

Method
  • Water brings to boil, add salt, and put the pasta into the pot. Follow the pasta's package cooking suggestion cook it to "al dente".
  • While waiting for the water to boil, take a sauce pan. Add the tomatoes, garlic, dried bay leaf, dried oregano, basil, olive oil into the pan on medium low heat. Stir it occasionally. Season it with salt and black pepper.
  • When the pasta is cooked to al dente, the sauce is almost done. Put the pasta into the sauce, and lightly mix it.
  • Serve it hot!

材料




70g Casareccia義大利麵 (或你喜歡的任何一種)

3顆小型蕃茄,或1中1小(切塊)

1瓣 大蒜(切半)

1片 月桂葉

1茶匙 乾奧勒岡葉

5片 新鮮羅勒

3大匙 橄欖油



黑胡椒

方法
  • 取一深鍋,將水燒開後,放入鹽和義大利麵,依照包裝上的烹飪時間,將麵煮至“彈牙”,或你喜歡的硬度。
  • 在等待水燒開和煮麵的時間,在醬料鍋中放入大蒜、月桂葉、乾奧勒岡葉、羅勒和橄欖油。開中火並時常攪拌。
  • 當麵煮好時,紅醬也差不多了。麵條濾水後加入醬汁中,輕輕攪拌即可。
  • 上桌!
  • 開動!
